Dr. Rakib Shahriar is a Post-Doctoral Associate of Dr. Mark Tehranipoor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at the University of Florida. He is leading two research projects on Digital Twin and Blockchain technologies.
Prior to this position, Dr. Shahriar obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. His dissertation topic was "Towards Cyber-Physical Manufacturing Cloud using Operable Digital Twins and Virtual Production Lines". The final dissertation includes research on topics like Cyber-Physical Systems, Digital Twins, and Cloud Computing.
